Dr. Cui Hong Yao is one of the best acupuncturists in Edmonton. She graduated with distinction from the three-year Acupuncture program and obtained Traditional Chinese Herbology Certificate at Grant MacEwan University. She has a BS degree in Medicine and a Master degree in Cardiovascular Disease from Tianjin Medical University in China.

With her more than seven years of rigorous training in both Western medicine and Chinese medicine, it allowed her to treat her patients from both perspectives to achieve optimal health. She has her own unique way to cure or relieve the medical condition according to the patient’s complaint. Additionally, she mastered acupressure and acupuncture needles insertion, electro-acupuncture, ear-seeds, cupping, gua-sha and/or moxibustion.
